Converting them with cuteness

Arlo did his bit on Staurday by sitting outside with Dre and 'assisting' with distribution of Labor how-to-votes while I voted.  I had to leave him outside, because I voted below the line, and there were 79 boxes to number in order.  It was a pain, but satisfying, particularly considering the result.  Well, the result outside my electorate anyway. 

We hate you, Pieman Bob.

Anyway!  So Mark comes home tomorrow, finally, and to a new government.  He travelled about 5 hours return to get to KL and vote last week, I am so proud of him. 

Tomorrow we go to meet our new nephew/cousin, Jonas, born on Sunday (as I said he would be), then on Thursday we'll meet up with Lisa and Arthur at the pool so Arlo can have him first swim of this season.

Um.  This is quite boring.  I'm hoping to have some time this week to update flickr and post some photos here - in amongst all the other things I have to catch up on.  And it looks like I'm having a few days in WA in December just after my birthday, which is exciting.  Not looking forward to a 5 hour plane trip alone with a squirmy toddler though.  I'll be taking a bag full of books; it will be endless repeats of Just Another Ordinary Day, Isabella's Bed, Mr Brown Can Moo, A Very Special House and whatever other books he becomes addicted to in the interim.
